I’ve posted this in other places before, but I still find it interesting. The picture below is of two screencaptures from Google Earth. The top is my Alma Mater, Clairemont High School – a large-ish school in the heart of middle-class San Diego. The bottom is of Hornell High School, located in my current city of residence which has a population of roughly 10,000.
No real point to this, necessarily. Just amazed at the stark differences between a school with alumni and administrative loyalty and a large-city cookie-cutter educational institution.
